About Us
Chef Louise received her culinary training at The Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, a Le Cordon Bleu school, in 1997. She received diplomas, with top honors, in professional cooking, and baking and pastry. She was sous chef at Bistro 4343 in Chicago and a pastry chef at the W Hotel Chicago City Center. Louise's first career was as a ballet dancer. She was soloist with the Tucson Ballet Company, and principal ballerina with Ballet Pacifica and North County Ballet Company. She was founder and artistic director of Conservatory of Ballet Arts School and Company, a non-profit organization, in Solana Beach, California.

After moving to Ashland, Oregon in 2005 with her husband, Creek House Patisserie LLC (CHP) was opened providing fine chocolates and pastries to several downtown businesses, including the Ashland Food Coop, for 16 years. During that time CHP's online chocolate store Creek House Chocolates developed a loyal following selling artisan vegan and traditional chocolates nationwide.

Now located in Warrenton, Oregon, Creek House Patisserie LLC and Creek House Chocolates continue to produce fine artisan chocolates and premium baked goods for the local community as well as online nationwide. Chocolate lovers can still enjoy our chocolates at the Ashland Food Coop as we ship them down south several times a year. Several of our products are available at the Astoria Coop, make sure you ask if you can't find them!
Practices
All products: No preservatives. Organic products are used when feasible.
All our products are made in Warrenton, Oregon in small batches with careful attention to detail.

Vegan chocolates: 100% organic ingredients. 66% cacao chocolate sourced from a 5th generation American chocolate company that is Fair Trade USA and Non-GMO certified. We are not a dairy free facility. No added gluten, however, we are not a gluten free facility.

Traditional chocolates: These luscious, all-natural chocolates use both organic and non-organic ingredients. Our traditional bonbons are unbelievably creamy with a wonderful tempered chocolate shell. Dairy products are RBST free. No added gluten, however, we are not a gluten free facility.

Baked Goods: We use organic flour and organic sugar in baked goods and never any kind of preservatives!
